What has happened to the descendant tree?

I dont understand the previous answers to the question "what happened to the descendant list?" Where is the button to produce the five generations of descendants on a profile?

And I don't understand why it was changed, it was very good where it was.

go to the person / profile of the one you require descendants, look at the children on the profile and click 'descendants' next to it. Hope that helps.

Also, note that the  DESCENDANTS  button only appears if the person has grandchildren.

Thanks Jim, that was the clue I needed. Had forgotten one link so they did not appear to have grandchildren. Corrected and everything works as expected.

It is bad UX design to have this button disappear when there are no grandchildren, or to have the ancestors button disappear when there are no grandparents. People will continue to be confused about this until it is fixed.
