Hello!
Last Saturday we featured the wonderful WikiTree FamilySearch Connection app for the Saturday Roundup Tip of the week. Here's the video and the segment starts at 1 hr, 5' 30". Unfortunately my log-in to FamilySearch from the evening before had gone stale so I couldn't show the final step of adding the WikiTree information to FamilySearch. I later followed up with an explanation in our Saturday Roundup G2G post.
Those in the audience who didn't know this app were very excited. Thank you, Justin York for giving us such a great tool!
One question (from me):
Once a connection is made between WikiTree and FamilySearch for a profile, I see the option to "Update WikiTree" on the far right. What does this do exactly? I know that many things can be reversed but I was a little nervous to try it when everything looked right already.
One suggestion (from Paddy Waldron):
Would it be possible for the app to allow users to sort/search/filter the watchlist rather than manually looking through dozens of pages to find the profile of interest, or the profiles with new suggestions?
Thank you in advance!
