G2G: April 2023 in Review

Here are some highlights of things that happened around our community in April:

News:

• We passed 34 million profiles! 
• There are new WikiTree Browser Extension features. 
• Check out the highlights from the WikiTree Challenge for the prestigious New England Historic Genealogical Society.
• Make a guess when we will hit our 1,000,000 member! Whoever guesses the closest gets a WikiTree t-shirt.
• Nominate a fellow WikiTreer to be "RAWKED" in June! Or you can volunteer to help with the RAWKING.
• Our 15 Nations Global Tour wrapped up its stop in Haiti. Next stop: Malaysia. Even if you aren't familiar with Malaysia research this is a great opportunity to learn.
• See the new trailer for the upcoming WikiGames event.
• Check out the wrap-up for the April 2023 Connect-a-Thon.
• Tree Apps are now easier to access -- no second login required.

Member highlights:

• Sjana Carter and Liz Shifflett became Project Coordinators.
• Amy Johnson and Melanie Paul became Team Leaders.
• Fiona McMichael, Dave Draper, Rob Neff, Alan Purchase and Loretta Buckner were interviewed and featured as Members of the Week.
• Norman Jones was awarded a Super Star. 
• Neville Dawson had the biggest increase in his CC7 this month.
• Twelve members received Community Stars, 37 received Family Stars, and 40 received Generous Genealogist badges (see here, here and here).
