Thomas Bristol born 1790 Pennsylvania

Question

I am attempting to identify the parents of my four times great grandfather.  The censuses he is found in all list his birthplace as Pennsylvania.  His approximate birth year was 1790 based on ages in the censuses.  I believe he migrated to Ohio in approximately 1804 with John Tidd.  I believe he is mentioned as a stepson of John Tidd in the book the History of the Tidd's of Ohio.

Most Bristols connect to Henry Bristol from New Haven, Ct. Have you looked to see if your Bristols are in the Bristol Genealogy Book and Supplement?

I started there first to see if there was a link in my tree, and there wasn't.

Also try and track down the book you mentioned, to confirm the info.
