Profiles need to be merged but I and the other profile manager keep getting errors when attempting to merge.

These profiles need to be merged because I accidentally created a duplicate. The profile manager of Pepper-187 was unable to merge the profiles together because of an email address. The profile manager could not locate the email address in the text.

When I attempted to merge I got this error message:

Change Before Saving

1. Permission Denied

It might be due to the privacy settings or trusted list … one is open (white padlock), the other has a green padlock.

Do a search on the page for the @ symbol (my Safari browser has a “find on page” function, your browser should have something similar). There are lots on the page, and one or more may be in an email address.

The other profiles privacy setting prevents anyone from helping if they are not on trusted list for that profile. Their profile needs a gedcom cleanup. It is what's holding things up as their are multiple items related to the gedcom upload that the system thinks is related to an email account. So I offered to help with that if they would put me on the trusted list. Just waiting for a response.
