Creation of pre-1700 profiles

I have been working to increase the number of Hernly/Hoernle/Hornli profiles to further my one name study. I have been looking through OLD church and civil records in FamilySearch, MyHeritage, and Ancestry and adding profiles to match the records I see. I have yet to find a close match and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

I checked for projects I could join that might cover these, but could only find Germany, which was kinda broad, and their requirements were beyond what I could offer.

Below is a connected profile as an example. Vince

Are you looking at just the database entries at those sites, or are you looking at the original records they transcribed? Because I've found hundreds of transcription errors at those sites which were only cleared up by examining the original records. For an uncommon name like Hernly/Hoernle/Hornli I could see lots of room for transcription errors turning them into other unrelated surnames.
