I can add a wife to the profile of Samuel Wood. This is who I can add:

  • Elizabeth Yates, who married Samuel 22 Nov 1696 in Pleasley, Derbyshire, and died there in 1761.  She was buried 15 Jan 1761 in Pleasley.

These are the sources I am using:

  • Marriage
  • Derbyshire, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812
  • Derbyshire Record Office; Matlock, Derbyshire, England; Diocese: Diocese of Derby; Reference Number: D 739 A/PI 3
  • found at Ancestry.co.uk

  • Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!
