Ros, when I created Hill-38844 she was meant to be the same person that I 'just' found on WikiTree......would it be best to merge them now as I am researching sources, now, to verify this line?

I couldn't see a Mary Hill married to Richard Chambers on page 243 of the Visitation. On the next page, 244, there is a Dorothy Hill married to Gabriel Chambers.

That doesn't look like a match.

Thankyou, Vance, for responding.......in closing for a rest, 10 hours ago, I had created some errors to which your comment alerted me and I have made corrections.  'Mary' Hill is on P. 244 as Maria, with a sister Dorothea and a niece Dorothea......I was mistakenly looking at the niece and when I found the sister, Dorothea, it probably cleared up why I have seen Maria referred to as 'Dorothy'.  I have carried on to develop Elizabeth (Ludlow-954) Hill's profile and the corrections on Maria (Hill) Chambers' profile can be viewed by clicking on her name in the question above.

John, I added the Peerage source to the earlier profile and proposed a merge.

Thankyou Janne.   I believe the correct direction of the merge would have Hill-4070 as the final profile number.  Once a merge has been completed more work can proceed.

Yes, the system will only let the merge be proposed and completed into the profile with the lowest internal entry number.  Additional sourcing can continue for both profiles and will be united in the profile that remains after the merge.
