Madrid Geneology leads to Canada

Question

I got as far back as Joseph F. Madrid in the Madrid geneology line. His wife was Aurelia Larrabee (found several variations of both her first and last name), they were Howard L. Madrid's parents. However, I can not seem to find anything else on the two of them. Joseph was born in 1833 in Canada, I got that information from his U.S. Military enlistment card from Onieda, New York. Aurelia was born in 1851 in Greig, Lewis, New York, U.S. Any ideas on where to go from there would be greatly appreciated, especially any information on Joseph F. Madrid. Thank you!!
