G2G: LDS Data - is it junk?

I was looking at one of the WikiTree+ Data Doctors suggestions and came across one that said there was GEDCOM junk and it was referring to an LDS Baptism date and an LDS Endowment date. I know nothing about the LDS but suspect that this isn't necessarily junk, so I didn't get rid of it.

The only thing that isn't junk is the FamilySearch ID.  See this page:

Thanks for asking. LDS endowment and baptism dates can be safely deleted. They are to do with religious practices of the Church of Latter Day Saints, commonly known as the Mormons. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:GEDCOM-Created_Biographies#LDS_Information.

That statement needs to be qualified (from the link you provided):

Another exception: Events such as LDS baptisms that occurred during the lifetime of the person. These should be included as part of their biography.
