Can anyone out there find out which John Browne this could have been. This would have been in Westmoreland , Virginia. There are so many John Browns but none with that death date.

By vertue of the Coroner's inquest 29 July 1688, Paul Williams, Robert Palford and John Browne were suposed guiltie of the murther of Sarah Blagden. The Court order that the Sherriff or his deputies take Paul Williams and Robert Palford (Browne being dead) and them safely convey to James Cittie by the fourth day of the next Generall Court, alsoe that you take the bodies of William Booth and Abraham Parker and convey them downe to the Generall Court as evedences concerning the rnurther of Sarah Blagden.(This Sarah Blagdon was the mother of Sarah Blagdon that married Lawrence Abbington Jr. Son of Lydia Kimball)
