G2G: Looking for a translation

Has anyone translated the manuscript by Jöns Hornaeus about the Torsåker witch trials? If not... would anyone be willing to translate. It is a handwritten document consisting of 139 pages. It can be found here: National Library of Sweden - digitised manuscripts (kb.se)

in The Tree House by Kathy Pelletier G2G6 (6.6k points)

Kathy, that's a very big ask. I don't know if any of the Swedish speaking members would be willing to take it on, but perhaps one will answer here.  If not, I know google translate often mangles translations, but you might give it a try.

I realize this is a huge ask!!! I’ve been trying Google translate with some success. I have difficulty with the handwriting though and thought someone with knowledge of Swedish could make sense of it.

It seems there is already a transcription to "modern" Swedish, in this book:

https://libris.kb.se/bib/10391732

That at least removes the difficulty in interpreting the handwriting.

Do you know how I could access this book from Canada?

I have sent a reservation for myself. I can check if international inter library loan is possible.
