How do I create single lines for numbered children rather that having them in one parogragh with commas?

I want to named children and put a number by them and have them single file.

I use # for listing children.  Then I use * for listing household members in censuses.

In the biography?  When I want separate lines, I code in <br> where I want the break.  For a separate paragraph, I code in <p> where I want the new paragraph.

Kitty is right that <br> is useful and acceptable to create a line break.

However, <p> is not on the list of WikiTree recommended tags, and should not be used in biographies. To make a paragraph break, simply insert a completely blank line in the markup between the two paragraphs.
