How do I enter my fathers and mothers name?

I'm trying to and my fathers and mothers name under my names so I can get started.

Before you can add profiles, you need to upgrade from Guest Member level to Family Member. This is quite free. See

Hi Gregory! Currently, you are a "Guest" member. As a guest you can send and receive messages and look at all the profiles. You will need to upgrade your membership to contribute to WikiTree. Not to worry, it is free, as is everything on WikiTree.

At the Guest membership level you can only enter your own information.

At the Family Member level you can enter recently deceased people, and I believe, some living people.

At the Genealogist or Full Membership level you can enter people born after the year 1700. There certifications for pre-1700 and for pre-1500.
