G2G: duplicate categories

Question

Hello,

First, I found what I believe to be duplicate categories and I'm not sure who to tell or how to merge them if they are indeed duplicates:

1.  Under Maintenance Categories, Uncertain Family:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Uncertain_Parents

2. Under Maintenance Categories:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Parents_Uncertain_Family

Second, if I have someone who has uncertain parents, should I put them in the Uncertain Parents category or go deeper and put them in the United States Uncertain Family category?   They both apply but one is more specific about what family members are uncertain and the other is more specific about the location.  ugg.

I agree, the category Parents Uncertain Family  should be merged into Uncertain Parents , which is a sub of Uncertain Family, itself being a Maintenance Category.

Note that the Template Uncertain Family can be used for both uncertain parents and uncertain spouses

Use United States Uncertain Family if it exists. It is always best to use the lowest category possible.
