Thank you so much, Pam. Yes, an unknown person further back would not be as mystifying as a grandfather after all of the hoops and lawyers I had to go through just to have my own records released to me in the 90's.
And all of the Casey kids are now living with a name that isn't even true! My cousin & I would do most anything short of digging him up to get at his DNA. I do have several rather close relatives all from Easton, PA. Kline is the latest to pop, and I really hope this is the closest as the Moser and Niccum families go back to a triple marriage between siblings. That just makes my head hurt too much.
I have seen Kline come up before, and through the same group of people. I know I'm in the right location, and am following the right families, but I'm not good enough at this to narrow it down any further.
My husband was diagnosed and died just 4 months later of ocular cancer in 2021. I had to sell our family home and move as fast as possible into a much smaller home before there weren't any small homes left in our area. I still haven't found my printer or even any of my files about any of this, yet. I'm still sorting, donating, and tossing so much, and am still opening boxes.
Ancestry has, for some reason, taken my account and separated all of my different trails and trees into different accounts after I let my account lapse. I've been too busy for the last couple of years to even deal with that mess. I'm just trying to focus on my present mess at the moment. I do pop into WT and Family Search from time to time, but haven't really stayed for more than a few minutes.
Thank you for the contact and hope I can get back into the hunt, soon. I can't die before finding a closer match because my spirit will never rest! (If I broke any rules, just delete this. I really don't know that much about WT)
