written down as it sounded by census taker.

The Swain Family Tree and Branches, Owner of Tree  ( cswain ) looks pretty good.

Lists his parents as William Hanna  & Nancy Saunders.Sulah had first married

Nancy Saunders,she died in 1836,he then married Jane Raymond.Jane Raymond

is listed as his wife on his death records.Absolute proof is hard too find in this

time period.His father listed as John Hanna 1744-1845,mother Margaret McCullum or McCullough. 1763-1839
