Looking for father/mother of James r. Lee, born abt 1810 in s.carolina.

Question

supposely father is from N.carolina and mother is from S.carolina. I found him in Alabama with a bunch of Lees, but no connection. He married twice (1st wife in ala, 2nd in Santa Rosa County,Fl.  cousin said he might be from Johnston and his father might be John, cannot comfirm

I am aware of this information, some of the information was incorrect and was updated. I know was born and lived in South Carolina, not sure where. And he lived in Dale County, Alabama. Supposedly he married in Tuscaloosa in 1834, I don't believe that to be accurate. I am sure he is somehow related to Lee in Alabama, but haven't found proof.
