I've launched a new blog, Developing Legacy: Committing to a Repository of Ancestral Stories over at patrickgraham.net I would appreciate your views and feedback. As a software developer with a love for puns, this blog is my unique take on genealogy. Over time, I plan to expand its content significantly, including more technical insights into genealogy software, tools, and technology, along with stories about my ancestors and relatives.
While I'm considering linking to WikiTree profiles and contributing biographical content here, my blog will provide more control over visual and interactive content. Eventually, I intend to develop and showcase my own software on my blog. Although it will be easier to highlight major ancestral stories there, I'm contemplating a balanced approach between what I post on my blog and what I share on WikiTree.
If you also maintain a blog and post on WikiTree, do you find yourself duplicating content across these platforms? Please share your experiences in your replies.
