How do I update WikiTree with a modified GEDCOM?

I don't know the current arrangement.  It used to be that you could only make changes to existing profiles manually, one profile at a time.  This was because other people's work could be lost in the update from another person's gedcom. But this was years ago, so I defer to anyone with more current information.

Please be very careful updating existing profiles.  Make sure to edit and review each one after you have done so.  I have seen 'too many' people update the 'same info' multiple times in the same profile, no clean up is ever done, and we have duplicate / triplicate info, in addition to what was already in the profile, most of the time, it did not need to be updated.

You can upload a gedcom with new information for the WT person.

You make a match in the GEDCompare and then EDIT the match (the match button turns to EDIT). You have the opportunity then to merge the existing data with the new information while editing.
