This profile is based on Jacob Horn's Diary, published in "The Horn Papers," which was determined to have been a forgery. See United States Library of Congress, Research Guide, "The Horn Papers: Forged Local History," available at https://guides.loc.gov/horn-papers (last accessed 17 Feb 2023).

Neither of the people identified in the Horn Papers (or in this profile) as her parents show up in readily available genealogy records in the Netherlands (e.g., https://www.openarch.nl), although those records often contain information on people living in the right time frame.
