How do I search for a numberd individual?

I've tried this, am told repeatedly that this person is not on my watch list.

Here's what I get:
Listing 0 BREWSTER-388 profiles. Show only the BREWSTER-388 profiles on your Watchlist.

Is there somewhere I can search WikiTree for person-No.?

If you know the person number Brewster-388 go direct to his page with the url:
http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Brewster-388
I usually go to my profile page then change the last part of the url. The searches here will not recognize Brewster-388. And the screen where you see that message "person is not on my watch list" has that problem.

I hope that works for you, yes it is cumbersome. Had the same problem, was the only solution I found.

It looks like what you were doing was entering Brewster-388 in the surname search box. That would then take you to a surname page where "Brewster-388" is the last name, i.e. http://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Brewster-388

What you would want for a surname page, of course, is http://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Brewster

Alternately, you could search for an individual by entering their real name in a person search box, e.g. search for "Willian Brewster" on http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:SearchPerson or the "Full Name" search field at the top of any page.

But if you do know the ID you're looking for, navigating directly with the URL bar in your browser as Michael suggests will do the trick, i.e. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Brewster-388

Since Michael's suggestion I have been using the amended URL, it works a charm. Next week I'm going to home in on all the William Brewsters, 89 of them.
