I am looking for the birth record of my great-grandfather Karl Wilhelm Reuther. The only record that I have so far are World War One personnel records that indicate he was born on November 13, 1888 in Arzburg BA Wunseidel. Anyone able to assist?

So he was born in Arzberg? Ok. That’s a start.

The Taufbuch for that date doesn't show him. I suggest the date you have is incorrect.

The record on Ancestry says November 13,1888 in Arzberg. Wondering if there was a writing error

Is it sourced? :-)

I found it in Ancestry in the World War I personnel rosters from Bavaria

The Taufbuch on matricula says Arzberg, Österreich. I think you must search Arzberg, Oberfranken, Bayern like George suggested.

Arzberg is Lutheran area, but I could not find church books online avaible on archion

Oops. :-/

FamilySearch has all the available Catholic records and he doesn't show up there. Ancestry.com has the Lutheran records, so if they don't have it ... you're out of luck I'm afraid.

What's wrong with using the military document anyhow?

Does the military record include his parents?

Usually includes next of kin, if nothing else. But yes, a German birth record would be far better, they're very complete.
