Very new here. I have discovered I may have created duplicate profiles.

I think i have accidentally created duplicate profiles for my father and discovered a duplicate for my grandfather.  I attempted to merge my father's profile but a totally different person with a different name came up in the comparison.  I don't want to create a bigger mess. Is there anyone I can talk/chat with for help to fix this?

That was a fairly easy error to make since the other profile had an estimated date of birth. I proposed the merge for you. If you go to your father's profile then use the menu in the upper right, you can find a link to search for matches. There you have the option to compare the two profiles. In this instance a lot of profiles came up, but only one was born in Oregon. I compared and they had the same wife.
