Question

I ran into this website.  I couldn’t find a listing of owner or group.  It is  Virginia Genealogy at (https://virginiagenealogy.org/database/) and is free.  Just curious.

It's somebody trying to make some money from advertising and affiliate links.  Every link on the page is a link to Ancestry.

Their other great works include pennsylvaniagenaology and missourigenealogy, which do pretty much the same thing.

Thanks..I didn't see any ads on the Virginia page..nor a web designer and the other gobblygook you get on a web site.  

It is free right now but some of the link pages go to 404 Error.
