How long does it take for newly created profiles to show up in the list on Surname pages?

I am trying to create a profile, but during the process of creating it, I am being shown the profile that I am wanting to create. However, when I look for it on the surname page, it does not show up in the list.  This is NOT right!!!

The profile was created on Monday, May 29, 2023 by another member, but as of this very moment, the profile is not showing up in the surname list.

Then the next profile I was going to create is already created. Again, it was created on Monday, May 29, 2023, but is not showing up in the surname list.

Hi Tommy. It may be that the main surname pages do not update rapidly. See this old comment from Jamie.

Does the profile you are interested in show up if you use the table view link on the surname page?

No the profiles I were looking for did not show up in the Table view list.

Hmm. My vague memory was that the main surname page is "canned" and only updated from time to time, but the table view is live. Since your profiles are not on the table view, that may suggest not an updating delay but some separate issue.

Currently, this profile, Margaret (Gepford) Garver (1821 - 1895) is not showing up in the Gepford Table View List.

There are various triggers that are supposed to update the surname pages, but it's buggy -- enough that the plan is to re-engineer how it works sometime this year.
