Copying an id

I used to be able to copy a full id number and name by placing the cursor on it and choosing the form I wanted, copy and paste wherever I needed it. I cant do it no more. It now shows a statute: father or wife etc , birth date and so on.

The old way was just so useful when it came time to set links,

Is there an other easy way to replace the old practice?

Why has it been changed?

On a person's profile page, the title shows name and dates.  To the right of those, one can hit 'ID' to copy the WikiTree ID, or hit 'Link' to copy the entire link to the page.  Either way the data will get copied to your clipboard.

Since I did the above screencap, an option to cite has been added to the right of the URL capture.

Melanie, This is exactly what does not work anymore. I can access this way only the profile's name, none of the other like: parents, brothers, sisters or children.

I have done the WikiTree Browse Extension changes suggested by Joe Murray, no avail.

Do you have WikiTree Browser Extension installed?

Check the setting Profile>Readability Options(Show Options)>Hide Profile Elements>Top Section> "Hide extra widgets and icons in the profile heading"

This setting can hide those items.
