I am looking for help to confirm Ralph De La Plaza/Place parents names. If anyone knows where I could even look for a birth record, it would be appreciated.
Ralph was born 16 Oct 1832 in Valparaiso, Chile according to FamilySearch and other family members research on this. We have his father as Juan Crisostomo Nolasco de Las Mercedes de la Plaza and his mother as Maria de Los Delores del Rio. From what what found, his parents never married but a marriage license was applied for (I have been unable to confirm this as well other than a brief mention on FamilySearch). His mother appears to have died in childbirth or very shortly thereafter.
Ralph's name has had many variations in documents or online records. First name as Ralph/Raphael and last name as De La Plaza/Place.
