Searching information on Giacomo or Santiago Frassati

Hello,

I'm very new at this and I am trying very hard, but without success, to find information on my great grandfather Giacomo or Santiago Frassati. The only information I have is that he migrated to Argentina from either Vercelli or Novara, Italy.

Any ideas where to look for more information?

Thank you in advance!

Welcome to G2G forum Cristina.

I see there is a WikiTree profile for your great grandfather:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Frassati-6

The image of the document on the baptism of your grandfather Guido is available in FamilySearch (see the page at the RH side):

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939D-GX9X-87

According to the document he was born 11 Jun 1912, both of your great grandparents were 24 at that time and they were living in

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Villa_Devoto

There is a chance that your great grandparents got married in the same city (Buenos Aires). The marriage records of the parrishes in Buenos Aires have not been indexed yet (most of the marriage records lists the names of the parents of the groom and the bride).

It'll be "like looking for a needle in a haystack", but try looking in the church books.
