I have five children for Thomas de Pykerynge and Lady Elizabeth de Greystoke, but do not have a son James. Can you offer a source for this son James? If not, do you have any other information about James?  There are many James Pykerynges in Westmorland, and Yorkshire England at this time span. Thanks, Carl Sheperd  [cjshepe33@gmail.com]

This identification probably comes from History of Parliament online, which calls James "probably" the son of Thomas.  However, Early Westmorland MPs p. 63 https://archive.org/details/tractseries15cumb. identifies James as the son of Robert, son of Thomas. I'm not pre-1500 certified so can't fix, but maybe someone else can.
