Are you planning to create a profile for him, and one for his famous father, and see what you can do to add family? It would be great if you did! There is likely to be quite a bit of information on the web.

internet Archive has some books on the Scarlattis. https://archive.org/search?query=scarlatti&and%5B%5D=mediatype%3A%22texts%22 including the New Grove Italian Baroque Masters, published in the 1980s, which has a chapter on Domenico, and which you can borrow for an hour at a time: that is normally fairly authoritative.

Unfortunately, I do not feel qualified since I am not a genealogist and as a result have not signed the agreement to allow entering records of this age.
