Just happened upon this sketch of a horse while looking for records.

Ramsåsa kyrkoarkiv, Husförhörslängder, SE/LLA/13304/A I/2 (1824-1831), bildid: C0061559_00036 https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0061559_00036

Nice! Looks like the horse name is Pollydora, wonder what the LNAB is...

The person who drew it was a better artist than the one in Vickleby, Kalmar: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0029006_00007#?c=&m=&s=&cv=6&xywh=95%2C-505%2C4440%2C2602

Does it exist any whitepage for sketches from church books?

A page for church book sketches would be fun.
Good looking animal. I can see why they were inspired.

Hi Kathy,

That is so cool. I've never seen sketches before in any of the Norwegian parish books I commonly scour through. Thanks for sharing.

Here's a page of baptism records in a Norwegian parish register with some drawings in it.

Neat! The next page has a sketch of a man's bust and a full figure of the man.
