G2G: Harry Case - Coat of Arms

Found a sketch of a bookplate showing a Coat of Arms for Harry Case. It isn’t listed in Burke’s and is probably an American invention. Fun find but not in my line.

Does anyone have knowledge of this or can give some background?

Take a look at page 18 of Albert C. Bates, An Early Connecticut Engraver and His Work (1906):

It discusses this bookplate.

Fascinating info.

That is excellent and it looks like the start of a new project. Henry (Harry) Case does not have a profile, nor does Carl T. Case. Many thanks for the quick response!

I like the unusual design and format of this coat of arms. Thank you for sharing it with us George.
