Looking for any info on Dr. Frank W Coolidge 1812/1821 New York - 1883 Iowa

Question

Looking for any info on a Dr. Frank(lin) W. Coolidge, born in either 1812 or 1821 in New York, died in 1883 in Mahaska County, Iowa.  He married Jane Lillibridge (1828-?) in McHenry County, Illinois in 1848.  Looking for any information regarding his parents or his children.

Franklin W. Coolidge also known as Frank W. Coolidge was a Corporal in the 12th Regiment, Iowa Infantry.

There is a number after Frank W./Coolidge; 881813. I don't know what it means.

I've research Dr Coolidge's descendants extensively but have not has of yet discovered any definitive information about his parents or if he is descended from John and Mary Coolidge of Watertown, MA.
