New member introducing myself

Hello all,

My name is Russell M. Bruce Jr. and I'm a decendant of Joseph and Sarah Bruce of Hardy WV. Both were born in or around 1765 and were slaves of Abraham and Elizabeth Van Meter. When the Van Meter's died, they left pretty much everything they owned to their Bruce slaves, including 1,600 acres of land. I'm trying to complete the story.
Who were Joseph and Sarah's parents?
What happened to the land?
Where the captured and enslaved indians?
