Connections have not updated after merging person in my tree.

Question

I had one of my 4th great grandparents linked to a profile match that I found that had no parents listed. I found a duplicate ID that had the parents and a long line of connections after.

I merged the ID's and now the correct person is shown on my tree and all their ancestors. BUT my connections have not updated and when I use the relationship finder on the person, it does not show the correct relationship.

I did this yesterday morning, will it update still or should I deleted them as a person on my tree and re-add them?

Jon, it's good the problem seems to be resolving.

In answer to the last part of your original question: we do not delete profiles, except in extremely rare circumstances to do with privacy, which do not apply here. See

I meant "delete" the relationship and re-add them. Not delete the profile.

Good to hear, Jon :-) That's an idea, but instead of speeding things up, it might slow them down. If it hasn't properly updated within another 24 hours (to be generous), you could provide details and edit your question so as to add the  bugs  tag.
