I was born in Perth Western Australia. My parents were both born in Australia. As I am in the final straight of life, I am trying to piece together for the sake of my children and grandchildren some information and hopefully stories about my ancestors, namely my father's family and in particular my grandfather's family whose roots come from South Australia. My grandfather came to WA after the first world war and met my grandmother.. From the stories my late father told, my grandfather was a man with many stories to tell and I would love to find out about his family and hopefully learn about his early life. My grandfather's name is Arthur Humphrys. He did not have a middle name.
