Still hoping to find someone with information regarding his parents.

Question

I have traced the family line back to Dr. Frank W. Coolidge 1821 New York - 1883 Iowa but cannot find information on his parents other than his father was from Mass and mother from NY.

Have you looked in the Federal Census for 1880?  I think the 1880 census is on line, but not on WikiTree.  You may be able to find him in a family group and trace his family back through other members of the family.
