I've been neglecting study of Nathaniel Browning of Rhode Island's English roots. I tried to see if Nathaniel could have been a Brownell, but the secular documents clearly distinguish between Browning and Brownell even if some of the religious ones don't. I think the next step is to try to locate the Chamber of London (Court of Orphans), which was in charge of the money of the three sons of Mrs. Elizabeth (Furness) (Browning) Palmer. Does anyone have any experience with this type of research or is there a service there to look up the money intended for Nathaniel Browning, his brother Samuel, and their half-brother John Palmer? I don't have any experience with this research and am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks!
