G2G: Adding variants to One Name Studies

I have a new one name study for Smarzynski, and I have just found several alternate spellings. Am I allowed to add them to the Study? Or do I need to get approval/assistance? 

I tried adding the link to the WikiTree ID/URL space on this query and it tells me "That WikiTree ID does not exist". I wonder if it's because the name has a diacritical mark? Here's the link: [[Space:Smarzy%C5%84ski_Name_Study|Smarzyński Name Study]]
