No, although there are information panels and there's been quite a bit of restoration .Although not in the direct line of fire, it's still part of the Lulworth army ranges. They still train people to fire tanks (including recently members of the Ukrainian army). They have to keep the public out for safety reasons. A designated area has been cleared but there's always a chance of a missfire. These are non firing days.
There was huge controversy about the need to continue to include Tyneham and the nearby coast in the 1960s and 70s but less so now than in the past. Some claim that the lack of development in the area has preserved the natural environment.
Some parts of the parish including the 'manor' house and some farms and hamlets are permanently out of bounds.
