If Mary Jane Baker's date of birth is compared to her husband's date of birth and his death date, it would seem that Mary Jane Baker must have been born earlier that 1845

An Ancestral File entry has Mary Jane Baker born before 1800.

Mary could have married an older man for many reasons.  Did Mary need a home, had  poor family, did Molsey have money or atleast a nice home and job? Maybe she looked up to him for some reason.  Or was it the other way around. Was Mary very pretty or had other things about her that made her someone men would want to marry.  Was she so pretty the family wanted to marry her off fast.  Did her father work with Molsey;s family and knew what a fine family he came from and the sort that would make a fine husband and son in law.
