I have Been looking up the Suname Topliss and I have found lots of information I was wondering if I can make profiles for these people because I am unsure if they are actually connected to me?

Hi Angelique,

Yes.  You can make profiles for people who are not related to you or who's relation to you is unknown :)

If you want to add a person who you can't yet connect to anyone who is currently on the tree, look under the "Add" tab (on the upper right of the screen) and choose "New Person."

Welcome to WikiTree.

Absolutely yes.  I often do that as part of surname projects where I am trying to tie together different people with the same surname to see if I can eventually connect them to me eventually. Also, many people here take on famous groups of people, such as Presidents of the USA, that I would assume many are not directly connected to.

Please cite your sources and  be careful about entering duplicates. WikiTree is usually pretty good about identiify duplicates unless there are different spellings of the last name.
