I am trying to locate my grandfather Phillip Scott who died in 1911

Question

I am trying to find out where my Grandfather died. Possibly in Liverpool, Manchester or India . He worked in the cotton trade, importing silks etc to sell to garment makers or shops. I have no record of his birth or death but he is on my father Squire Scott's birth certifiate 8/8/1911 at Barton on Irwell.Nor do Ihave any record of his parents
