John C. Thurman, b. 1818 in Georgia, d. 1893 in Louisiana

Question

I would like to hear from anyone who has information on John C. Thurman, born in Georgia 5/29/1818; died in Louisiana 4/3/1893.  Would like to share info on the Thurman line and any other lines that might also be involved.

Probably the first thing I would recommend doing if you haven't already would be to search for possible matches in your tree with those of other WikiTree members.  After doing that, you may want to do some surname searches for Thurman as well as other surnames in your tree to see if anything jumps out at you that may have not shown up in a match, and contact the profile managers for anyone you find of interest.  Also, be sure that anyone in your tree that is living and might be interested has an email address listed on their profile so that they will get an invitation to join.  There's tons of different things you can do, but these are a few that I have done that have worked for me.
