Use estimated dates?

I have found a source for the early kings of Sweden that has estimated dates (see part about Peringskiöld on the profile in quesiton). Should I replace the dates that someone else has written on the profiles for these kings and their wives but has not mentioned any sources for? I do not want to step on anyone's toes in this.

If someone has sources for these dates that do not align with the source I am using I would appreciate if we worked out some way to add these sources and also a discussion about their accuracy.

I'm not sure there is an easy answer

There does seem to be a lot of online genealogies that have is birth date as about 340 but it doesn't seem to be based on anything.  His lifespan of 71 years is totally unrealistic for this time period (and his son and grandson apparently both lived until they were 91).  It's difficult to tell without seeing the entire work but at least Peringskiöld seems to be giving these characters a reasonable life span (30-50 years).  Presumably he has worked backwards from a known date?

Leaving the dates out altogether might be an option, but that may cause problems?

By the way Lena, I think you have done a fantastic job on these profiles.

Thank you John!! :) Yes I think he worked his way back from kings and queens with known dates and made estimations. The work is dedicated to the quen of the time. I'm thinking that  since thre already are dates it is better to have these that have a source instead than unsourced ones.
