This would make us 2nd cousins then.
My great great grandfather is Jackson Baggett.
My great grandfather is Henry Riley Baggett.
My grandfather (Mason) and your grandfather (Preston) are brothers.
My dad (Paul) and your dad (Virgil) are first cousins.
So that makes you and me, 2nd cousins.
I can be reached at

I would love to be in contact with you. :)
I don't get to spend time researching  wish i could..would love to know more so your mom is a baggett or dad?  my sister has some stuff on this..I would love to know where we baggetts came from.I have always been drawn to australia and england in my heart.can't explain it.I am Rhonda  kay baggett .married first to  dwayne harris then 2nd and 3rd time to Matthew pride of rhode you live in tn?I seem to remember Mason and then denny, shirley. My mom had a picture of them all together.she passed 10/2011 so i don't know where it is..There is a leah baggett in erin that has a lot of info....
i was hoping maybe any of you could help me in my quest of finding out more about my ancestry/ ethnicity.  My father was adopted by his step father and never knew or met his real father Vernon Baggett.  I believe he passed in Louisiana in the 90'sj... I was told he possibly was French and some kind of Native American and i am looking to determine which type.

My grandmother was married to Vernon for a short period of time (I dont know how long, she never spoke of him).  Her name is Louise Greco and they had twins, my father and his sister.

ANY and all information is welcomed. Thank you.
My great great grandfather was William J (Squire).Baggett and he lived his entire life in Montgomery County, Tn. He was first married to Sarah (Sack) Underwood.
My Father was Dennie Baggett.  Henry Baggett was my Grandfather.
My GrandFather, Henry Riley Baggett,  says "Tennessee is full of Baggett's".
The Baggetts originated from Staffordshire, England and sailed across the Atlantic to America in the early 1600's.

My paternal grandmother was Melissa Isabell Baggett, born in Winchester Tenn. (1851) passed away in Rocksprings, Texas (1948)...daughter of Abel Green Baggett (1826-1885) & Nancy Beckum (1820-1862) both of Franklin County, Tenn.  Thats really all I know about my Baggett ancestry in Tennessee....I think that Abel had siblings and was possibly the son of Drury "Drewery" Baggett of N.C. but I'm not certain....After the civil war the family moved to Williamson County, Texas..
