I have found a few DNA matches.  One of which has our family connected to a different family in NC (on another Website.  There are about six Genealogies that appear to be a mixture of my family and this other family - OY!)

My DNA cousin and I are talking it round and round...the other family was NC and my family was GA based/the time line doesn't match up and all the siblings are crazy wrong to fit my family from the research and sources I have found.

Trying to connect Ann Hall and her three kids to a spouse.  She is listed in the Rabun county, Georgia 1840 Census as a widow so it would be very early records.  Be great to discover her maiden name as well.

Gosh, Mags, I wish so badly that I could do this. I'm in Northeast Alabama, only 60 miles from the Georgia line, so I looked up.Rabun County and my heart sank - it's not in the western part of Georgia - it's 228 miles from me.  I would have loved the opportunity to give back just a teensy bit of what you and everyone else here have given me, plus it would have increased my learning about how to do research.  Why couldn't your family have listened to that guy who said "go west"????
Aww thanks Gaile!  Mags
My gr. Grandmother was a Hall from WNC.
Send me a PM please? you can do that by going to my profile, then clicking on the send private message. Thanks, Mags
