John Cook was my 4 Great Grandfather
John Cook was my 4th great grandfather as well. Just haven’t been able to verify for sure his parents. Nor have I found more than a few DNA matches.

John Francis Cook was my 5th great grandfather.  His wife was Elizabeth Coleman (?) Alexander.  His sons were Henry, John Jr, Ambrose, James, Willis Iverson(my 4th great), and Joel Calvin.  His parents were Reuben Cook 1739-1820 and Mary Daniel 1744-1828.
Can you take some of these profiles...Stilllooking for possible Cook connections...our trail abruptly end in Missouri, though I do know that it meandered through Kentucky, and before that Virginia. Doesn't help my search to know that about that time, statelines changed!
Hi, Nancy. Do you have any sources regarding John Francis Cook (also a 5th great grandfather of mine) and his wife Elizabeth? I cannot find any connections between them and Willis or the other children.
Hi Garrett,  I dont' have much on John Francis Cook.  I haven't been on Ancestry in a while.  I live in Panama City and we are trying to recover from Hurricane Michael.  I believe that a John Francis Cook died in Leon County (Tallahassee) Fl. but that came from Ancestry and you have to take all internet information with a grain of salt.  I grew up in Tallahassee and have family there but I haven't been able to trace them to John Francis.  My Willis Iverson Cook seemed to have lived in south Georgia.  My Grandfather Coy Ellis Cook Sr. was from Miller County and Decatur County.  Very close to Leon county Fl.  I hope that I was some help.  Please share anything you might find on this family.  Thanks you, Nancy.
Thank you, Nancy. I was down in Panama City a few months ago helping with cleanup efforts. I hope you guys are doing well and staying strong. I'll make sure to share any information I find.
Thank you Garrett for your reply.  What is your connection to my line?  If you were here then thank you for your clean-up efforts.  We still have a long way to go.  If you really want me to confuse you, my grandfather Coy Ellis Cook, married my grandmother Eula Mae Cook.  No relation.  Trying to sort out all of these Cooks can get really confusing.  Lol.  Would love the hear more about your connection when you get time.

Thank you

Nancy Cook Lindsey
