What a small world it is!

Hi all,

 

I hope everyone is doing well! It always amazes me how small this world really is and last night was no different! I was doing some research on my great gand uncle Lloyd here and I found out that he lived in my hometown for 10 years! I also found out that a cousin (who unfortunately passed away a few years ago) was also living here in this city. In fact, Lloyd built a house on my street, I know that house! We have a friend of our family who lives there now just like 6 houses down! Isn't that something?!

Also, later I will need help figuring out some more May family mysteries/coincidences.... stay tuned!

I had something similar happen. I had found that my great grandmother and g-g grandmother lived in the same area of town that I did growing up ut I never knew them. we never visited...I don't know if my father ever knew...it was his grandmother and great grandmother....they happened to live down the street from my grammar school. As an adult, I'm heartbroken to know that I was that close and never got to meet them...

My cousin in Ohio lives less than a mile from our original land patent holder Moses Nelson from the Rev. War.

We had no idea until I started researching.  We found as many as seven generations living in Ohio, in Three Counties, Stark, Tuscarawas and Jefferson.  Our Baltzer Culp founded New Somerset Ohio in Jefferson Co.

My cousin never knew why he was living in Ohio but is a huge Ohiophile.  Now he knows he has deep roots and how he was born in Ohio.
